Although it doesn\u2019t make the posture any easier, it does make it eminently more tolerable and even more strengthening. The song, from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yogajournal.com\/lifestyle\/mc-yogi-sound-patterns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recently released album <em>Sound Patterns<\/em><\/a> by MC YOGI and composer John Pattern, functions as a mantra of sorts and will no doubt bring even more meaning and mindfulness to your practice or playlist.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mLWFFaiDNkQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>ALIGN<\/h2>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C2U6sOPL_CD\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\"><\/blockquote>\n<h2>CONSIDER<\/h2>\n<p>In an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/health\/archive\/2024\/01\/exercise-fitness-plan-identity\/677161\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">article published in <em>The Atlantic<\/em><\/a> early this week, writer Yasmin Tayag experiences something of an identity crisis as she struggles to choose among \u201ctoo many ways to exercise,\u201d yoga among them. Her overwhelm, which relates to common perceptions around stereotypes, was that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yogajournal.com\/lifestyle\/things-yoga-people-understand\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">what you do influences who you become.<\/a> In Tayag\u2019s words, it\u2019s a \u201clife imitating exercise\u201d thing.<\/p>\n<p>Yet with yoga, that\u2019s entirely the point. How we show up on our mat directly influences how we show up to life.
